TAG QUESTIONS
El TAG QUESTIONS se dice en español preguntas con coletillas. Está conformado por una oración y una pregunta, la pregunta traduce: Es cierto?, No es cierto, Es verdad., no es verdad?. El tag questions se usa para confirmar una información, acción o evento.
Examples:
Antony studies English, doesn´t he?
Mary is in Canada, isn´t she?
Antony doesn´t study English, does he?
Mary isn´t in Canada, is she?
Observen. En el tag questions cuando la oración es afirmativa la pregunta es negativa, Y cuando la oración es negativa la pregunta es afirmativa.
El tag questions se usa en todos los tiempos verbales, hay que tener buen dominio de los verbos auxiliares o modales para poder formar la pregunta final del tag questions.
Anna has been in USA, hasn´t she?
You will go to the beach on sunday, won´t you?
They haven´t played soccer, have they?
Tom can´t swim in the river, can he?
