🎯 OBJETIVO GENERAL
Comprender qué son los planos y los mapas, y aprender a identificarlos y usarlos para ubicarnos en nuestro entorno mediante actividades colaborativas que favorecen el aprendizaje significativo.
🏠 SABERES PREVIOS
At home, with a family member, look for a map or a plan of a place you know (your neighborhood, a park, or your school). Talk about what it shows and draw a simple sketch of it.
🔍 EXPLORACIÓN
In groups, share the sketches you drew at home and explain what places or things are shown. Talk about the differences between a plan and a map.
📚 CONCEPTUALIZACIÓN
¿Qué es un plano?
Un plano es un dibujo que muestra un espacio pequeño o específico, como una casa, una escuela o un parque, desde arriba, con detalles que ayudan a ubicarnos y entender cómo está organizado ese lugar.
¿Qué es un mapa?
Un mapa es una representación más grande de un lugar, como una ciudad, un país o el mundo. Muestra diferentes elementos como ríos, carreteras, montañas y ciudades para ayudarnos a entender cómo llegar a diferentes sitios o conocer las características del terreno.
Diferencias principales:

El plano es más detallado y pequeño.

El mapa cubre áreas grandes con menos detalle.
Los planos y mapas nos ayudan a orientarnos, planear viajes y conocer mejor nuestro entorno. Aprender a leerlos es muy importante para nuestra vida diaria.

Los planos y mapas los usamos para encontrar lugares, planear excursiones, y entender el espacio que nos rodea, como la escuela, la ciudad o el país donde vivimos.

In groups, draw a simple plan of your classroom or school showing important areas (doors, desks, playground). -
Activity 2: Map Exploration
Look at a simple map of your city and identify key places (home, school, park). Share findings with the class. -
Activity 3: Treasure Hunt
Create a small treasure hunt using a simple map or plan made by the groups. Each group gives clues to the others to find a hidden object.
🏠 HOMEWORK
Draw a map or plan of your neighborhood and write the names of three important places.
